small washed baby potatoes, halved
Segmented pieces of a rabbit

spicy sausages (try Chorizo)

Preheat oven to 180C. Heat oil in a large frying pan and sauté potatoes
for about 5 minutes, or until starting to colour. Transfer to a large-lidded
casserole dish. Season rabbit pieces well with salt and freshly ground
pepper. Fry rabbit in frying pan (adding extra oil if needed) over a
moderate heat, turning once, until nicely golden. Transfer rabbit to
casserole dish. Return frying pan to heat, add sausages and cook until
they start to colour. Add these to casserole along with whole garlic,
thyme and lemon quarters. Cover with lid and cook in oven for about
40-50 minutes, or until rabbit is cooked. Remove lid for last 10 minutes
to allow rabbit to colour a little more. Bring Casserole to table for
serving.
